About the Role

We're hiring a Product Designer to help define how people experience AI in their daily lives. You'll reimagine what an AI interface can be—moving beyond the chat box to create interactions that are intuitive, fun, and fit naturally into how people live.

You'll work directly with our Founder and engineering team to design across iOS, Android, desktop, and web. This is a 0-to-1 role spanning the entire design lifecycle: from research and concept through launch and iteration.

What You’ll Do

Reimagine the UI and interaction model for an intelligence layer of LLMs—moving beyond traditional chat interfaces to something that feels native and intuitive.
Own the full design cycle: user research, concept development, prototyping, and analytics-driven iteration.
Design for iOS, Android, Mac desktop, and a mini web interface, with a primary focus on mobile innovation.
Lead design initiatives with a deep understanding of user psychology and behavior to create magical, achievable multi-step AI workflows.
Partner closely with engineering to ship quickly while maintaining a high bar for craft and usability.
Leverage AI tools to enhance the design process and conduct user research at speed.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

8+ years of experience in product design with extensive consumer mobile app experience.
A portfolio demonstrating 0-to-1 product work—not just iterating on existing systems, but defining new ones.
Deep fluency with AI tools and a perspective on how they're changing design workflows.
Strong command of interaction design, motion, and prototyping across mobile and desktop platforms.
Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear, user-centric solutions without waiting for perfect requirements.
Comfort operating as an individual contributor who can also set design direction and mentor others as the team grows.

Preferred qualifications — we encourage you to apply if you meet some but not all of these:

Experience reimagining established interfaces or interaction paradigms (e.g., messaging, search, OS-level features).
Prior experience as head of design or design lead at a fast-moving startup.
Background in AI products, voice interfaces, or multi-modal systems where conventional patterns don't apply.
Experience designing multi-platform systems (iOS, Android, desktop, web) with shared design language but platform-native interactions.
Familiarity with analytics tools and a habit of using data to inform design decisions.

Logistics

Location: San Francisco, CA (on-site)
Compensation: $250k-$500k expected salary with 1% to 5% equity depending on background.
